Quilting Projects To Make

I'm excited that you decided to visit my website.  I'm eager to come to your site and conduct workshops for you and your group.

Small Art Design

Small art quilts can have a big impact.  In this class you will learn how to use your fabric stash to put together a complete art project in a few hours start to finish.  We'll brainstorm designs that we create together, make our own patterns and sew our art projects.  I can accommodate from 5 to 20 people in this class.  We talk about composition, color and each student will design an 8 x 10 art quilt that can be framed.

Beginners to experienced sewers can benefit from this class.

Materials list for this class includes:

A working sewing machine

Hand needles

Background fabric for at least three quilts (they can be assorted)

Assorted fabric stash to make your designs

glue stick

Seam ripper (optional)

Batting or other fabric to use as batting

Fabric Post Cards

These cards make sewing small art quilts an adventure.  In this class you will learn how to use your fabric stash to put together cards that you can make mail, trade or keep.  After completion cards are 4x6.  We will use small pieces of fabric, embellishments, paper, etc. to construct small pieces of art.  We will discus color, proportion design and pattern making.  I can accommodate from 5 to 20 people in this class.
